Hi there!

We are a group of warm, inspiring, caring, and energetic volunteer ambassadors ready to support the MUHC any way we can!

Building on the legacy of the traditional hospital auxiliaries, The Friends of the MUHC was established to carry forward the important element of community support to help make our hospitals great! Incorporated in May 2014, The Friends obtained charitable status in November 2015 and have since remained committed to fund-raising and friend-raising. With a strong membership base that continues to grow, The Friends are committed to developing programs that will engage the community to help improve patient care.

With no staff or overhead, The Friends of the MUHC are proud to be able to directly distribute the proceeds of our initiatives to meet the greatest needs, from new medical equipment to programs and activities, for all the MUHC hospitals.

The MUHC...we're here to help them all!

Give a little or a lot!

We’re all about 21st century volunteerism, and believe a little can do a lot; that smaller pods of involvement and time commitment are more realistic these days – and can still achieve great things. We like to take initiative and give back to the hospital community. Above all, we love to make new friends.
